  • How to deploy portlets to Liferay

    Portlet is application of the liferay portal, In which we write the business logic of the application.

    Follow below steps to create and deploy the liferay portal :

    Step 1: Create liferay portlet in eclipse.

    Step 2: Right click on portlet in eclipse as shown :

    Portlet-Name --> Liferay --> SDK --> Depoly

    Build the portlet .war and copy into liferay bundle.

    Step 3: Create page in the web application.

    Step 4: Add portlet on liferay portal page.

    Step 5: Make change in porlet and it will appair on the web page.
