    Welcome to Findnerd. It is right place for discussion. Woo-commerce is adding new features day by day. Woocommerce fulfill the requirements of e-commerce website. There are many in-build features which support e-commerce. Other hand is Yii-framework which is not developed for e-commerce. If you use the yii-framework you need to build the all the functionality for e-commerce. We suggest you to prefer the woo-commerce for e-commerce. You can also build your website in magento which is king of e-commerce market. If you want to develop light-weight and simple website then use woo-commerce with wordpress.
