    What Is TMM ?

    TMM stands for Test Maturity Model. TMM (Test Maturity Model ) is established on the CMM (Capability Maturity Model). This model was first of all cultivated by the Illinois Institute of Technology. This model (Test Maturity Model ) is an elaborated model for the betterment of test process. TMM can be supplemented with some approach betterment pattern.

    There are mainly two elements of the Test Maturity Model. Mentioned as below:-
    1- An Evaluation Model or An Assessment Model.
    2- A group of five levels which specify testing ability.

    There are various levels of Test Maturity Model. Described as below:-

    • Initial :- Software or Application should run favorably or successfully.
    • Defined :- Development, testing or experimentation and adjusting objectives and approaches.
    • Integrated :- Complete testing through software life cycle.
    • Management & Measurement :- Setup a test evaluation or measurement program.
    • Optimized :- Optimization of test process.
