Hello friends, today we are going to discuss about keyboard and its working. There are a lot of things in the world which we use but we don't know the internal working. If you want to know the internal working of casual things then you are at the right place so we continue the discussion on internal working of keyboard. In old days we used the typeWriter for writing but now a days keyboards have taken its place.
There are three layers in keyboard. first is upper conducting layer, second is insulting layer and last is lower conducting layer. When we press any key, it will complete the circuit and send the signal to computer processor and rest of the work will be handled by the processor. If you open the keyword and see the internal part of it. You will see transparent plastic layer that detect the key actions.
Keyboard also contains green rectangle at the top for Num lock, Caps lock and scroll lock to activate the indicator light. It means when you press the caps lock then a green/blue light will be on to indicate that caps lock is on. If you release the contact layer then in the back of that layer you can see the small rubber pieces which will help to keys in bouncing. Through this rubber keys can be go up and down.
Insulting layers with holes will help to connect the lower and upper conducting layers to complete the circuit. If you see the laptop keyboard then you will find that it is quit soft and less reliable for continues working. If you do the lot typing work on daily basis, you need to purchase the extra keyboard because laptop keyboard is for only home use.
