    Hello friends,

Many times while doing a calculation in excel we got stuck with errors such as, #N/A, #REF!, #NAME?, #DIV/0!, #NULL!, #VALUE! or #NUM!.

So here in this blog I am picking up #NUM! error and providing you the solution for this, please check the below steps.

    1. The excel formula uses function to perform calculation ie. RATE.
    2. You have to change the number of times excel performs or iterates formulas.
    3. Go to Formula tab, under calculation option check Enable iterative calculation box.
    4. After this in Maximum iteration box type how many times you want to excel to recalculate. Remember that if the number of iterations is higher it will take more time to calculate a worksheet.
    5. Now look at maximum Change box, you have to type the amount of changes you want to accept between calc results. Also remember here if the number is smaller it will provide you more accurate result along with more time to calculate worksheet.
    6. If A formula provides too large or too small number in excel, you have to change the formula so that it should result between 110307 and 110307.
    7. Also turn on the error check on your excel and click (on error icon) next to cell which show the error. Click show calculation steps if available, and pluck the solution for your data.
