    Answer it

    Hi,

I have a question related to system attack I recently faced. My system was attacked by a virus, which also resulted in issues with the portable hard drive. Since I didn’t have any antivirus installed, my portable Hard Drive Data is infected. So, last night I installed the Free Microsoft Security Essential for Windows 7. After installation, I received a popup message that MS essential has prevented an attack, etc. And later on, when I scanned my system, it showed “no threat found”.

Now, I am wondering where the virus has gone.

My question is whether the virus was found and removed at the very first step when it showed a “threat-has-been-blocked message”, or The MS security Essential failed to detect it?

or Should I go for other Antivirus? if yes please tell me the Best AntiVirus for Windows at a reasonable price.
