    Drivers enables the developers to build database applications in their language of choice. Drivers available in Mysql:

    • PHP Driver:The MySQL native driver for PHP is a replacement for the MySQL Client Library for the PHP script language.
    • JDBC Driver:MySQL Connector/J is the JDBC driver for MySQL.
    • ODBC Driver:Connector/ODBC is a database driver for Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, and Unix platforms
    • C Driver for MySQL (Connector/C):MySQL Connector/C is a database driver for C for communicating to MySQL servers,
    • PYTHON Driver:MySQL Connector/Python is a database driver for Python.
    • PERL Driver:DBI is a database-independent interface. DBD::mysql is the driver for connecting to MySQL database servers with DBI.
    • RUBY Driver:There are two modules for connecting to a MySQL database server from Ruby: MySQL/Ruby and Ruby/MySQL
