How to Add Skype Indicator in UBUNTU System?

Hello Sachin,
If you want to add skype indicator First run the below command on your terminal-
sudo apt-get update
This command will download and update your packages you requires.
After this run the below command:
sudo apt-get install libappindicator1
after this run the command you mentioned, and shown below
sudo apt-get install sni-qt:i386
Now Go to Top right of skype screen click on Skype----> Options-----> notification
Now at the bottom check the check box Display built-in System Pop-up Notification
and Restart the system.
Doing this Notification icon will appear on top right of home screen.
Thats it.

Thanks Ankit and Narendra for Responding,
I tried the steps advised by Ankit It worked but running the sudo apt-get install libappindicator1 command my chrome get uninstall, later on I again need to install chrome. :)

It seems that the skype is not in the white list for the panel. Install dconf-tools using
sudo apt-get install dconf-tools
then run dconf from dash and you can find the white listed applications under
Desktop>unity>panel
you would find entry for systray-whitelist, just add skype to this list and then restart.
