If you owning a website you might have seen logo's and banners for it, but there's also a little icon on top on tabs showing your website Icon. That icon is called as Favicon. this is a icon format you can generate this easily with easy steps by own, although there are many software that makes favicons.

Choose a favicon for your website in any format, jpg or png.

Try making it into a square in photoshop

when your photo is adjusted, then re-size the photo in 25*25 pixels and publish it into JPG format.

After publishing rename the image extension with .icon (ex favicon.jpg to favicon.ico)

Its final now you can put this code into your website header secion and locate your favicon.icon file
