    What is On-page Optimization?

     

    On page optimization is an SEO technique that plays a very important role and have vital effect on your website listing on search result page, it refers to all steps and the factors considered within the website at the time of development of the website to improve webpage rank on search result page. It includes actual HTML code, meta tags, keywords placement and keyword density.

    Do's

    placing keywords is good SEO technique to get higher page-rank on SERP

    • Place Keyword in Title
    • Place Keyword in Permalink
    • Place Keyword in first paragraph
    • Place Keyword in Image Alt tag
    • Tweaked Keyword in H2 or H3
    • You should Bold Important Keywords and related keywords
    • Make 1-2 important Keywords italic
    • Giving Outbound Link to relevant high-quality sites
    • Do internal linking to related articles
    • create and posting of Video blogs, PPT and Info-graphic)
    • Optimize image before uploading (Compress and re-size)
    • Page loading time should be as less as mush as possible.
    • Use LSI Keywords (Use Google search to find related Keywords): LSI stands for Latent Semantic Indexing, LSI keywords are essential keywords related to the keywords that we search on search engine like Google, and Google search engine does this by using LSI.
    • If using any Social SEO plugin, make sure to add image for Facebook, Twitter. (Take advantage of social graph)
    • Make sure to have social sharing buttons at the end of post or floating social sharing buttons.
    • Place related posts with every blog posts to decrease bounce rate.
    • Try to use Keyword in Post Title at beginning
    • Use Long tail keywords (You can use up to 65 Character in Post title) At the end of blog post, ask users to take action.

     

    Don'ts

    • Do not put more than 1 H1 tag (Your Post title should be H1 tag)
    • Don’t repeat H2 and H3 Tag.
    • Keyword density should not be more than 1.25%.
    • Do not create unappropriated and lengthy content.
    • Do not use Meta title in more than 65 character.
    • Do not use Meta description in more than 150 characters.
