    The word Plagiarism is derived from the latin word plagiare which means to Kidnap or to take someone away illegally by force. Plagiarism means taking or stealing ideas or words of another and using them for as one's own for commercial use without giving proper credit to the original author. So Plagiarism plays an essential role in content writing and content management and this blog will provides you more information about it.

    Consequences of Plagiarism:

    Why not to steel content or ideas- In starting you might think copy content or stealing ideas for work is the best and easiest way. Yes, it is surely, but soon you will be caught. Copying or stealing content or work and the word we use Plagiarism is illegal in the International Law. Therefore, if you are stealing others content in such case, the original owner of blog can file a case against you in court and this will harm you in the following ways-

    • Destroy Professional Reputation in cooperate world.
    • Destroy Academic or Educational Reputation.
    • Legal Causes and Consequences.
    • Penalty in Terms of Monetary.

    Plagiarism also includes downloading the images or papers from the internet and using it for commercial purpose.

    How to avoid Plagiarism:

    1. Paraphrase or Rephrase in your words- If you search for the information over the web or by other means that is perfect for your usability. Read it and express or write it into your own words. Make sure that you should not copy exactly the same words in the whole sentence together.
    2. Quoting- When quoting a source, use the quote exactly the way it appears. A scholar or blogger should edit effectively or rephrase most material in his own words. This process may takes time but the efforts will benefits you. Quoting must be done correctly to avoid plagiarism, allegations or claim.
    3. Citing/Referring Quotes- Citing a quote can be different than citing paraphrased material. This practice usually involves the addition of a page number, or a paragraph number in the case of web content.
    4. Referring Your Own Material- If sometimes you are using for your previously published content or used material, on a same site or anywhere else you must cite or rephrase yourself. It may sound odd, but using content or material you have used before is called self-plagiarism, and it is not acceptable therefore to avoid this mistake you should properly edit and change the content in different words or provide a reference/cite to the web, where you have used the content/material previously.
    5. Referencing- This is one of the most important ways to avoid plagiarism. It means you should provide a reference to page to the page or original source at the end of your content. This information is very specific and includes the author's date of publication, title, and source.
