You can also machine wash quilts but here is a fear of tearing the stitch of a quilt. Hand-wash or machine-wash your quilt, using normal water and soft liquid detergent. Do not add any other clothes while washing a quilt in the machine. After washing the quilt do not dry it in direct sunlight.
