Animation is a process or giving motion to two- dimensional drawings, it can be described as the creation of the illusion of motion through a rapid sequence of still images. Though the quality of the original images is important and what is equally important is the quality of the sequence through which action, character, and story development are portrayed.

In this phase of 21st century animation has went into the nerves of youth. One cant imagine any movie, any cartoon film, any short film without animation. There are many examples which describe animation, such as a smiley face turning into a crying face or dissolving into the background. Therefore animation can make every impossible move or transformation possible. Animation is the only thing which is visualized by everyone, from a school kid to an adult. That is the reason why at this point of time animation courses after 12th has become the most boosting career program. There are so many animation institutes which are established in Delhi, which teaches animation. And animation is in itself a huge term and of 2 types, that is 2D and 3D animation. Both of them are used according to their usage.
