Tanjila Islam is the CEO & Founder of TradeFlo, a blockchain-powered platform for global trade facilitation & financing. An international trade and economic development expert, Tanjila founded TradeFlo to help buyers and suppliers gain greater access to international markets and expand global trade. She is also CEO & Founder of TigerTrade, a B2B marketplace for international trade. Tanjila is an Adjunct Professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she teaches courses on International Trade, International Business Transactions, and Global Sourcing. Tanjila has extensive experience in international trade, export promotion, and economic development across a variety of industries. Her areas of expertise include export promotion, SME development, and facilitating access to finance. She has designed and managed multi-million dollar private sector development and trade promotion programs in countries such as Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Indonesia. Tanjila has built businesses and promoted trade efforts worldwide and is adept at managing multiple teams across countries. She speaks Arabic, Bengali, English, and Spanish.
