Unity Care

Unity Care was founded by Andr Chapman in 1993, and in the nearly thirty years it has been serving Californias foster youth, the organization has won a number of grants and awards. In 1997, Unity Care was recognized by 100 Black Men of Silicon Valley as Nonprofit of the Year. From 1993 through 1998, the organization opened four houses to support foster youth transitioning from foster care. By 1999, the company had launched its Pre-College Minority Engineering Program (PC-MEP).
