If you have a good set of values this will lead to you running a good company. There are a lot of companies out there that are not good. Yes, they sell a lot of products and make a lot of money but they do not take care of their employees and managers. 

When employees are happy, everything seems to run a little bit smoother and everyone is more productive. Give your employees enough paid time off for vacations and make sure that sick days are built in.

Practice Good Business Practices

There are many companies out there that do not practice good business and it eventually catches up with them. Company owners can spend time in jail, end up in court and even end up paying lots of money to those that they have harmed. 

To stop this from happening, you will need to fall back on your values. Do not cut corners or try to scam your customers by taking their money and running. Make sure that what you are offering them is valuable with help them. Treat your employees well and be involved with your company.

Your company will be part of a local community of some sort. It could be the physical space where you work, so the city you are located in. It may be the community in which you help. Whatever the case, you will want to get involved and support other people in their efforts. 

Take a look at what events are going on in the community. If you see a need within the community you can host an event to raise awareness and funds for that cause. You can make donations to local shops and schools to show that you are involved and support the community.
