    Categories in Joomla manages the articles. Articles have exactly one category. To create a category you need to follow the steps given below:

    1. Login to the back-end of Joomla Site.
    2. Click Content -> Category Manager ->Add New Category.
    3. You will see a form to add a category. Enter all the necessary details. Some of the details are:

      4. Title : Enter the title of category

      Description : Describe the details of category.

      You will enter other details according to your requirement.

    4. Now press "Save" or "Save and Close" button. Categories created successfully.
