Hello friends, today I'll tell you how you can display a menu to a specific user in Joomla. Before starting the process you should know about User Group and User Access Level in Joomla. User Group and User Access Level in joomla is used to control the actions user can perform on the site.

Now to assign the menu to specific user you need to follow the steps as follows:

    1. Login to the backend(admin section) of Joomla.
    2. Go to Users -> Groups -> Add new group. Now add Group Title and Group Parent according to your requirement.
    3. Now in this step you will assign the group made in previous step to the user whom you want to display the menu. For this, go to Users -> Manage. Select and open the specific user details. Now you can edit the user details. Go to Assigned User Groups Tab and assign the group to the user. Save and Close it.
    4. Next Step is to make Access Levels. Again go to Users -> Access Levels -> Add New Access Level. Add Level Title and select the User Group you have create in previous step.
    5. Now go to the menu which you want to assign to a specific user. Edit it. Here you will find a field Access. Select the Access Level which you have created in previous step. Save and Close it.

Now you can refresh you site and find out that the menu will only display to the user which you have provided the access level.
