We can use jQuery UI to implement a tooltip in our pages. It contains a set of user interface interactions.
Tooltip is used to show some additional information in the context of each field.
This is how you can use Jquery UI:
<!doctype html>
<html lang="en">
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8">
<title>jQuery UI Tooltip /title>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="//code.jquery.com/ui/1.11.4/themes/smoothness/jquery-ui.css">
<script src="//code.jquery.com/jquery-1.10.2.js"></script>
<script src="//code.jquery.com/ui/1.11.4/jquery-ui.js"></script>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="/resources/css/sample.css">
<script>
$(function() {
$( document ).tooltip();
});
</script>
</head>
<body>
<p><a href="#" title="That's what this widget is.">Tooltips</a> can be used as to hover the field to see the tooltip.</p>
</body>
</html>
Just use the jquery-ui.js file and some custom css. A simple and easy way to implement the tooltip.
