  • Login either Username or Email using Authentication Plugin in Joomla

    With the help of this Plugin user can login either with email or username . This plugin is compatible with Joomla 1.5, Joomla 2.5 and Joomla 3.1 .

    How to install

    1. Login to Joomla Administrator.

    2. Install with Joomla installer

    3. Proceed to your Extensions -> Plugin manager

    4. Search for "email" specifically Authentication - Email or Username

    5. Enable the plugin

    6. Check your other authentication plugins (select type authentication in right upper section of the plugins management)

    7. Disable all except "Authentication - Email or Username"

    8. Please make sure that you do have at least one authentication plugin enabled.
