Media Manager manages the Joomla images. It uploads and deletes the files from [joomla root]/images/ directory. You can upload files, create directories and sub directories using this tool.

To access media manager click on Content -> Media Manager and you will able to see all the files, directories and sub directories. To upload a file to a directory follow the steps given below:

1. Select the directory from the left side of the page where you want to upload the files.
2. Now click on the Upload button on the top left corner of the page.
3. You will see a hidden upload element. Now you can select the images you want to upload and click on Upload Files button. Your images are successfully installed.

To create a directory press the Folder button given at the top of the page.
