    Changing favicon icon in joomla is very simple and easy.


    A favicon is a small size image display on browser tab when you open your joomla site.It always have extension .ico file.


    Below are the steps of changing favicon icon:-

    1 First create your favicon image having dimension 16*16 and with.ico file extension name as favicon.ico.


    2 Place .ico extension image inside templates directory which you are using on your site for eg if your template name is "beez5" then upload your favicon.ico here:-


    /templates/beez5/favicon.ico


    Refresh your page and see it will reflect on your browser tab.
