Hello Guys
Liferay provides inbuilt datepicker of alloy script. Liferay use alloy and AUI script instead javascript or jQuery.
Below example help you for better understanding :
<input class="form-control" type="text" placeholder="mm/dd/yy">01/19/14</input>
When we click on text field then datepicker will appear and can select a date, month and, as per requirement.
<aui:script> YUI().use( 'aui-datepicker', function(Y) { new Y.DatePicker( { trigger: 'input', mask: '%m/%d/%y', calendar: { selectionMode: 'multiple' }, popover: { zIndex: 1 }, panes: 2 } ); } );
