Some times we need to flush or truncate the sqlite Database tables created by coredata. Here is the method to delete all data which exists in core data sqlite tables.
-(void) flushDatabase{ [self.managedObjectContext lock]; NSURL *storeURL = [[self applicationDocumentsDirectory] URLByAppendingPathComponent:@"CoreDataModel.sqlite"]; [[NSFileManager defaultManager] removeItemAtURL:storeURL error:nil]; [self.managedObjectContext unlock]; self.managedObjectModel = nil; self.managedObjectContext = nil; self.persistentStoreCoordinator = nil; }
