How can you enrich your leadership practice?
Read books:- There are probably multiple of books on leadership/supervision published yearly! A lot of them are basic fluff and regurgitated concept. Yet, a lot of them also contain very valuable information that you can use to understand leadership and how you can influence other people.
Attend seminars:- There are a number of adviser and narrator who can host great seminars. You might have to spend a bit of money for these discussion though. If you want to undertake seminars at your own pace and at your own freedom, you can also review some online leadership/supervision seminars, popularly called webinars.
Look for a coach or a mentor:- They can help you examine your leadership expertise. In addition to that, a leadership adviser or a leadership trainer can also help you look at your talent and frailty. This trainer or adviser/mentor can also help identify the risk and the opportunities in your leadership career. More than just the mixture that they can suggest, they can help train you to become a more conscientious leader and pay more attention to details.
Answer some challenges to your leadership/supervision expertise. Volunteer to solve some of the reappearing difficulties in your corporation. As you do so, you need to organize a team to solve those problems. This way, you can show your organization your leadership skills and how you approach people management.
