  • How to create roles in liferay

    Hello guys
    Here, I am creating custom roles in liferay 6.2. I have three (i.e vendor, client and standard user) roles to create in liferay portal and assign them permissions, So we need to create "regular" roles.

    Step 1: Create custom roles (i.e vendor, client and standard user)

    • Login as administrator and open control panel.

    • Click on Roles under Users.

    • Click on Add for adding new role as Ragular Role.

    Step 2: Assign Permissions to role

    • Click on Permissions under Action of the Role.

    • Add permissions as requirement.
