What Is Project Risk In Software Testing ?

As we all know that testing is an important activity like all phases of any project and therefore this is the matter to risks that produces the risk or hazard to the project.

There are several types of project risk which can move to the project in the danger. Few of them are mentioned below --

1- There is a main risk like late delivery or delayed delivery of the test objects to the testing team and also presence issues with the testing environment.

2- There is also risks when extreme postpones in fixing issues or defects, created in the time of testing .

For any type of risk either project risk or product risk we have mainly four common activities that we can appropriate. These activities or actions are described as below :-

• Mitigate
• Transfer
• Contingency
• Ignore

Mitigate:- In this we can take steps in progress to decrease the probability and effect of the risks.

Transfer:- In this, talk with the other person of the team to decrease the possibility or receive the effect of the risk.

Contingency:- In this we have ideas or plans for the purpose of decrease the risk to get the results.

Ignore:- Some times we can ignore these risks, which are commonly good choice, we can ignore these only when these are small or little or when the probability and effect of these risks are very low in the project.
