Slide-Out Navigation is quite popular nowadays. It enhances usability and gives a different look and feel to the app. Apps like Facebook, Path and many others use this feature. Attached with this blog is a nice library called SWRevealViewController that implements this functionality and is easy to understand and implement. Source code is also available on Github.
