By this blog i am contributing few common test scenarios for the OTP testing. OTP stands for ‘One Time Password’. Now a days, OTP testing is an modernization plan. OTP testing is an innovation testing technique or testing approach. These days OTP is widely used for the security purpose in all applications so that genuine user can only have the access.

I expect these test scenario will be help full in the time of OTP functionality Testing. These are mentioned as below:-

1- Verify that OTP is generating within the time period.

2- Verify that OTP is receiving only on the registered mobile number.

3- Verify that same OTP should not be delivered to more than one registered mobile number at the same time.

4- Verify that once OTP used than that OTP should not be reused for another transaction.

5- Verify the OTP expiration, when user will not use created OTP within the time period then that OTP should be expired.

6- Verify that resend OTP functionality should be worked properly.

7- Verify that user received different-different OTP for each transaction or for each activity.

8- Verify that when user click for the resend OTP and received two OTP (first OTP and second OTP which created after click on the resend OTP) then only resend OTP should be worked.
