This tutorial will guide you about "How To Show Terms and Conditions Checkbox during Checkout Page in magento".

To enable the terms and conditions check box in checkout page, follow the below steps:

1. Login to admin panel.

2. Go to System => Configuration => Sales => Checkout => Checkout Options and set Enable Terms and Conditions to Yes.  
Then Save Config.

3. Now (from the Main Menu of dashboard), go to Sales => Terms and Conditions.

4. Click Add New Condition button and fill mandatory fields.

Condition Name : Any name that you want. It is only shown to the admin.

Status : To show on frontend set it to Enabled.

Show content : Set it to either Text or HTML. If you want to add some styling using HTML tags then set it to HTML otherwise set it to Text.

Checkbox text : This text is shown next to the check-box, for example “By checking the box you agree the terms and conditions.”

Content : In this field, You can type your Terms and conditions text. This text will be shown under the checkbox.

5. Finally, Click Save Condition button to show Checkbox at Checkout Page.
