Vuforia is basically used for image recognization or object recognization, you can scan from local images or from cloud database.
In this tutorial, we will learn how to use vuforia service to recognize images from cloud database.
1. First of all, you have to create account in vuforia developer portal here :
https://developer.vuforia.com/user/register
2. Go to develop tab and create an application there.
3. Now for cloud reco, you have to create the database in target manager panel where a click on creates database and then you can add multiple images.
4. note that you can only upload images that are less than 2mb in size & The Image shall be sent as 8-bit binary data.
5. Now click on your database in target manager and go to Database access keys option where you will see client secret key, client access key server secret key, server access key.
6. For cloud reco API i.e cloudreco.vuforia.com/v1/query you have to use client keys and for vws server, you have to use server keys.
7. Now you have both the keys and you can access vuforia APIs in your app only you have to add vuforia.jar file that you can download from here :
https://developer.vuforia.com/downloads/sdk this will provide complete SDK file you have to copy an only vuforia.jar file from apps/lib folder.
For image recognization, we ll use cloudreco API but for image scanning, we can use vuforia jar file that we 'll discuss in our next blog.
